About Red Ink. Marg Sumner has been editing, copyediting, proofreading and writing for more than 25 years now. Marg is at least the fourth generation of Sumner editors, and has book lovers, ephemera collectors and librarians sprouting from all branches of her family tree. She holds a bachelor’s degree in African Languages & Literature and a master’s in History & Theory of Typography & Graphic Communication.

Betsy is Red Ink’s chief noisemaker. She’s a friendly Lhasa Apso who has been doing her share of bringing cheer to the office since February 2002. Her vocabulary isn’t extensive, but she’s an enthusiastic and inventive communicator.
